Tasting Notes
Light golden yellow, silver reflections - in the nose nuances of ripe Williams pear and apricots, on the palate juicy and spicy, complex texture, fresh apple fruit, elegant acidity, will stick well and gives pleasure to the next sip!
location
The Riede Stiegl is located between the cellar lane of Feuersbrunn and our old wine cellars (part of the Riede Gmörk Riede) and is a southern location at the foot of the Hengstberg. In the uppermost layer of the very deep soils you can find humus, including a loam and loess mixture - the best prerequisite for the typical, classic Grüner Veltliner vom Wagram.
Winemaking
The grapes are all read by hand. The harvest of the capitol wine took place between the 10th - 13th of October 2015. From this point on it was fermented in a stainless steel tank at about 18 ° C. The wine was then stored for a few weeks on the fine yeast until it was bottled on 12 January 2016.
